The Cireta Token Lifecycle
From asset verification to on-chain redemption, every step is publicly verifiable on Ethereum.
Asset-Backed. On-Chain. Verified.
How a Cireta Raise Works - The Lifecycle
Every raise on the Cireta Launchpad follows a structured, repeatable lifecycle:
Asset Verification & Legal Structuring
The underlying real-world asset (commodity, real estate, etc.) is independently verified. Geological surveys, property appraisals, or equivalent documentation depending on asset class.
- •A legally incorporated Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) is formed to own and control the asset on behalf of investors.
- •Insurance and custody arrangements are established with licensed partners.
Token Minting - The Asset-Backed Token (Gated ERC-20)
A gated ERC-20 token is minted on Ethereum representing direct ownership of the underlying asset. Each token corresponds to a defined quantity/value of the real-world asset.
- •The token contract is deployed to Ethereum Mainnet, publicly visible and verifiable by anyone.
- •The token is gated: transfers and allocations are restricted at the smart contract level to only KYC/KYB-verified wallet addresses. This is enforced on-chain - not by policy alone, but by code.
Vault Lock & Fraction Creation (Gated ERC-1155)
The asset-backed ERC-20 tokens are deposited into a Cireta vault smart contract on-chain. Against the locked tokens, a gated ERC-1155 fraction contract is created. These fraction tokens are what investors purchase during the sale.
- •The fraction tokens are also gated: only wallets that have completed KYC or KYB verification through Cireta can receive or transfer fraction tokens.
- •The vault is transparent: anyone can verify on-chain that the asset-backed tokens are locked and correspond to the fractions being sold.
The Sale (Raise) - Multi-Phase Structure
A raise is typically conducted in multiple phases (e.g., Seed, Private, Retail). Each phase offers progressively higher pricing and lower minimum investment thresholds. Only unsold supply from the previous phase is carried forward to the next phase - no new tokens are minted between phases.
Vesting Period
After the sale closes, a vesting period begins (duration varies per raise). During vesting, fraction tokens are held by investors but cannot yet be redeemed. The underlying asset-backed tokens remain locked in the vault, verifiable at any time.
Claim & Redemption
Once the vesting period completes, investors can claim their allocation. The fraction tokens (ERC-1155) are burned - permanently destroyed - and the corresponding asset-backed tokens (ERC-20) are released from the vault to the investor's wallet. This is an atomic, on-chain operation: burn and release happen in a single transaction. There is no counterparty risk at this step - the smart contract enforces it.
The Cireta business team can provide the relevant supporting documents for each raise, including proof of asset reserves, SPV incorporation documents, insurance certificates, and custody agreements.
On-Chain Verification: What Investors Can Check
Every Cireta raise provides the following publicly verifiable on-chain data:
Asset-Backed Token Contract (ERC-20)

Your Fraction Token Balance
Connect your wallet or search your address on Etherscan
Claim/Burn Transactions
All claim events are recorded on-chain with full transaction history
No trust required - these are public blockchain records that anyone can independently audit.
Smart Contract Architecture
Cireta Tokenization Flow - From Real-World Asset to Investor
REAL-WORLD ASSET
Verified, insured & legally structured.
ASSET-BACKED TOKEN (Gated ERC-20)
Minted on Ethereum. KYC/KYB-gated transfers only.
GATEDCIRETA VAULT CONTRACT
ERC-20 tokens locked & publicly auditable on-chain.
LOCKEDFRACTION TOKEN (Gated ERC-1155)
KYC/KYB-gated. Burned upon claim → releases ERC-20.
GATEDWhy Gated ERC-20 + Gated ERC-1155?
- Gated ERC-20 (asset-backed token): Represents the full asset. Fungible, transferable, and compatible with the broader Ethereum ecosystem - but with an on-chain gate that restricts all transfers to KYC/KYB-verified wallet addresses only.
- Gated ERC-1155 (fraction token): Enables fractional ownership during the sale. Also gated - only verified wallets can purchase, hold, or transfer fractions. Burned on redemption to ensure 1:1 correspondence with the underlying asset token.
Why Gating Matters
Gating ensures that every participant in the token lifecycle - from purchase through transfer to redemption - is a verified entity. This provides:
- •Regulatory compliance: Securities and commodities regulations in most jurisdictions require investor identity verification. Gating enforces this at the protocol level.
- •Investor protection: Tokens cannot be transferred to unverified wallets, preventing bad actors from entering the holder base.
- •Market integrity: Secondary transfers are also restricted to verified wallets, ensuring the entire holder base remains known and compliant.
- •On-chain enforcement: The smart contract will reject any transaction that attempts to transfer tokens to a wallet that has not been verified. No exceptions.
Key Security Properties
Gated Transfers
Both token types enforce KYC/KYB verification at the smart contract level.
Locked Supply
The vault holds ERC-20 tokens equal to the total fractions sold. Verifiable on-chain.
Burn-to-Release
Claiming burns the fraction token and releases the asset token. No double-spending.
Immutable Records
All events are recorded on the Ethereum blockchain - permanent and tamper-proof.

Investor Journey - Step by Step
KYC Completion
Investor completes KYC on the Cireta Launchpad and is approved for the sale.
Purchase Fraction Tokens
Investor purchases fraction tokens (frWMAU for Phase I, or frWMAUII for Phase II) using USDC through the platform.
On-Chain Recording
Smart contract records the purchase on Ethereum - the investor's wallet now holds fraction tokens for the phase they participated in.
Vesting Period Begins
The WMAU tokens remain locked in the vault, visible on-chain.
Claim Initiated
After vesting completes, the investor initiates a claim on the platform. Burns the investor's fraction tokens and releases the corresponding WMAU asset-backed tokens from the vault to the investor's wallet.
Post-Redemption Options
The investor now holds WMAU - the same asset-backed token regardless of which phase they entered. This represents their gold ownership. They can hold the token, trade it, or request physical delivery of gold to the secured Dubai vault.
How This Protects Investors
| Concern | How It's Addressed |
|---|---|
| "Is the token real?" | WMAU is a live ERC-20 contract on Ethereum Mainnet - verify at etherscan.io |
| "Is there actual gold?" | 2,435 kg of certified reserves verified under NI43-101 and JORC standards. The Cireta business team can provide the relevant geological reports. |
| "Can the issuer run away?" | Tokens are locked in a vault smart contract. Release requires burning fraction tokens - enforced by code, not trust. |
| "Can more tokens be created?" | The minted supply is fixed and visible on-chain. Any minting events are permanently recorded on Ethereum. |
| "Is my investment insured?" | Credit risk insurance by MayFair and SIC, backed by Swiss Re, Munich Re, and Lloyd's. The Cireta business team can provide policy details. |
| "Can tokens go to unverified parties?" | No. Both tokens are gated - smart contracts reject any transfer to a wallet without KYC/KYB verification. |
| "Can I verify everything myself?" | Yes. All contracts, balances, and transactions are on the public Ethereum blockchain. |
How to Verify On-Chain (Investor Guide)
Check the Asset-Backed Token (WMAU)
- Go to etherscan.io
- Paste the contract address: 0x970A4d6866c057E6CBA4f1EF42EF02326A94A656
